It was a cold night in San Francisco, but the story of
the night was the hearts of peace and warmth and voices
of love. Candlelight vigil At Union Square in San
Francisco has successfully concluded around 9:15 P.M. It
went past our scheduled time a bit but it is perfectly
understandable due to a couple of encore performance
from the chorus. Attendees were so deeply emotionally
involved, they wouldn't want to leave the scene and they
just lingered on.
It was truly a night to remember. Both MCs (Jo Wan and
Tom ) did an excellent job introducing the guests and
directing the flow seamlessly. In particular, we had
throngs of American friends (residents as well as
tourists) joining us at the memorial service. They
listened intently throughout the program. One of the
objectives for this event is to involve American
mainstream, which we have clearly accomplished tonight.
Media coverage was extensive including printed
publications (China Press, Singtao, World Journals,
China News Service, and TV stations (KTSF 26 and World
TV 32). The additional video display on the stage was
very effective and drew a large number of crowds. Of
course I also have to mention the banner which no doubt
is the center piece of the stage set-up was beautifully
designed and solemnly displayed at the venue.
All volunteers are absolutely thumb-ups. And Eric, you
did it. Superb job!

The memorial service that took place at the beautiful
lake in the Central Park at Fremont tonight was very
successful. Near 400 people attended, including the
mayor and the council member of city of Fremont. All the
presenters and MCs did impeccable works. All the
presentations (songs, poems and Jiwen reading etc.)
deeply touched the heart of every attendee. It is
unforgettable.
