Where the Fund will go：
NCC512 will send all the donations to SiChuan Red Cross to eliminate the service fee，SiChuan Red Cross has promised to use all the donations for this earthquake relief.  NCC512 will periodically send money to SiChuan.  All the booking information will be online at this web site.

100％Transparency:
NCC512 will try to have the donors list online while we are still protecting donors privacy.  No full name will be displayed online unless the donor agrees.

NCC512 is organized in a hurry to help the relief so we are working with the non-profit organization, WUOASF:EIN 94-3329232.  Your donation is tax deductable.  Because of our labor shortage, your receipt will be mailed to you later but ASAP.  If you donate by Paypal, the Paypal receipt can be used for tax purpose, which includes the EIN already.

Participated by over 50 Chinese organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area , the “Northern California China 5.12 Earthquake Relief (NCC512)” has been established. In its first press conference held on May 14, NCC512 has raised $43,000, and the number keeps rising.  

The massive tragedy as a result of 7.9 degree earthquake allows us no time to wait. By uniting many Chinese organizations/groups, NCC512 committee immediately started the charitable donation activities. Its mission is to optimize resources by coordinating fund raising efforts, and deliver all raised funds, and humanities expressed by the people in Bay Area, to the Red Cross of the Sichuan Province.

NCC512’s  goal is to publicize this earthquake disaster via multiple channels including traditional media and Internet to raise much needed funds for the disaster hit area. The fund raising goal are to be accomplished through charitable performances, and organized group fund-raisers in shopping centers and stores across the bay. The committee promises to deliver all raised funds immediately to the victims in Sichuan Province. 

Disasters do not have humanity, but we do.  We urge you to take actions now!  Do not be concerned about whether your contribution might be too small.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Let us join our arms, stand with people in China, raise the hope for children in Earthquake area through g our care, love and prayer to the people who are suffering now.
